Bay Equity is a full-service retail mortgage lending institution headquartered in Corte Madera. Bay Equity has operations centers in Concord, California; and Beaverton, Oregon; with many retail branches from coast to coast.
We are hiring a System Administrator to work remotely along with travel to other locations.
The position is expected to provide system administration for the companys computer network. All employees of Bay Equity are expected to provide quality customer service and maintain high ethical standards when serving our clients.
Responsibilities for this position may include:
Managing Citrix Cloud environment
Managing Microsoft M365 environments
Enterprise Email System administration
Disaster recovery/Business Continuity implementation
Microsoft Azure administration
Windows Server 2016 and newer administration and monitoring
Active Directory administration and policy enforcement
Storage administration (Azure, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
Planning design, technical review and implementation of enterprise automation and self-service tools.
Cloud phone system management (Teams Voice and RingCentral)
Microsoft Endpoint/Intune MDM
Qualifications for this position include:
4 years of relevant hands-on system administration experience in an enterprise IT environment
Proven ability to design, implement, monitor and manage Windows servers in a variety of roles
Storage provisioning, management, and backup; ability to assess storage needs and provide solutions
4 years of technical experience supporting servers in a multi segmented, routed and firewalled enterprise network using TCP/IP v4
LAN/WAN networking experience
PKI Certificate management
4 years of technical experience implementing and supporting standalone and/or virtual Windows servers in an organization with no fewer than 30 servers.
4 Years of technical experience working with server and cloud backup software to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are operational
Administration experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience with common server monitoring tools and strong scripting skills for custom tools and reports SharePoint online administration experience
A solid understanding of implementing network infrastructure
Strong communication, written and verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong teamwork qualities with the ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with peers, end users and management
Strong analytical skills
Must be self-motivated and take ownership of assigned tasks
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent work experience/certifications
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
Availability to work 8am-5pm M-F Pacific shift in addition to rotating on-call shift
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Includes the job requirements listed above, plus:
Service-Now system administration
BeyondTrust administration
Proofpoint product administration
Windows PowerShell scripting
Experience using enterprise management and monitoring tools; e.g. PRTG
Expertise using Autopilot and Microsoft Intune Endpoint management
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
CrowdStrike administration
SIEM administration
We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k. Compensation is based on experience and ranges from $55,000 $80,000 annually. This is a full-time position.
