We are hiring a Jr. Loan Processor to work for our Chicago office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answering incoming telephone calls, troubleshoot, and forward to appropriate employees
• Review and correct Encompass file if there is anything missing such as vital information or identity information
• Order the appraisal and confirm with the loan officer that the file is ready to proceed. Once confirmed, be sure to have the appraisal order and card authorization in the file. Forward order link to loan officer to prep the client
• Order condo documents and review for condo approval
• Order title and escrow and upload corresponding documentation to Encompass
• Add all contacts to the file, and ensure accurate contact information
• Ensure accurate property information and confirm minimum documentation is present to move the file to processing
• Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence
• Prior experience in file setup
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Encompass experience is preferred
• Provide the highest level of customer service
• Light clerical administrative duties as needed by staff

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of loan processing/setup experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Strong communication skills (professional, positive and polite) and interpersonal skills
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and a willingness to be helpful
• Ability to multi-task, work well in a fast-paced environment, and ensure the satisfaction of guests
• Dependability and punctuality
• Type min. 50 wpm
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
